We continued politics and government, focusing on the roots of political ideologies and two dimensions to each hot button issue: social and economic aspects. Crystal explained the mini hot button-hands-on project, she also collected the liberal vs conservative worksheet and gave us five points for our writing on why people don't vote. I am excited for the hot button issue as we will be able to relate sociology to our everyday lives. I have attached my hot button issue on common core. Common core is a set of educational standards that the majority of public schools in America implment. WC:100
