I found sociology to be very insightful. I believe I will use everything that we covered in class throughout my life. We covered a lot of material during this course, due to that it was very fast paced, even though it was fast I still took away a lot from this class. I believe that having Crystal as my teacher was benificial in my learning process throughout this course. I found that Crystal was very insightful and knowlegable not just on the topics covered in class but overall themes of being a better individual in society. Reflecting on the course I found it to be interesting. I learned a lot about sociology and how it relates to every aspect of life. In terms of reflection on myslef personally I beleive that I grew as a person through this course. Crystal opened not only my eyes but my three minds eyes to society. I found many of Crystals analogies to be very helpful during this course. I also can relate many of her analogies to my life. For example the analogy of the fish. A fish doesn't realize it needs water to survive until it does not have water to live. The fish analogy was helpful to put things into a perspective for me, realizing that people do not realize what they need to survive until it is taken away. The most important learning idea that I took away from sociology is that there are many different aspects that influence society, postive and negative, the outcome is up to the citizens within the society.
