Week 3

Today I shared my sociology connection between the super bowl and politics. I related to lady gaga as what society expected of her and then criticized her. Trump is constantly being criticized which is in part due to his ever changing ideas. The basic of what I said today is that role statues are constantly changing and not everyone will be happy with what the outcome is. Leading to the social exchange paradigm of society and the social interaction is guided by hat each person stands to gain or lose from others. Justin shared too on the super bowl and talked about the dramaturgical analysis and the images of society. After discussing we watched a video to review chapter one and the three theories. After the video we then learned about two smaller eyes within symbolic interaction: ascribed vs. achieved statuses.
