Week 3

In class today we talked about the scientific research method. The video that we watched discussed why people behave the way they do. Other points that the video made were research is more effective than common sense, sociology is scientific discipline, and that common sense does not always level to the truth. When recording data particular social phenomenon you will see it through a different perspective other than the eye. Once the video was complete Crystal introduced us to the idea of research vs. me search. Research being what is factual and me search being what you already think on the topic.
