End of Week 2

The beginning of class Zach and Isak shared human events that tied into society and brought individuals together. Zach talked about how Beyoncé announced she is expecting twins, and the Charleston shooting case is unraveling in court right now. Isak spoke about the wall trump is proposing and how it would affect immigrants and future immigration into the United States. Today we also are starting a new thing for our daily journals. I care statements that can relate to you on a personal level or a global level; the trick is that you cannot repeat I care statements. I care about my great Aunt pat and the time I spend with her, as she has little time left with us as she continues to battle her stage four lung cancer. In class today we covered the three theoretical and critical mind eyes theories: social conflict, symbolic interaction, and structural functional paradigm. WC: 151
